Which cameras does Jolicam support?
Jolicam supports any camera or video device that is connected to your computer and that is accessible via DirectX. Jolicam works with all cameras supported by Skype/MSN Messenger/ICQ.
Installation
How do I connect my webcam to the Jolicam service?
Register on the Jolicam website and then
install the Jolicam software package on the computer your webcam is connected to, and follow the installation wizard instructions for registering your camera to the Jolicam service.
How to use
How much does it cost me to use Jolicam?
You only pay the tariff of a video call, which Orange and Cellcom now charge at the same rate as regular calls. There is currently no subscription cost for Jolicam.
Privacy and Security
Can anyone else access my cameras?
Not unless you allow them to. You have full control on who can access your cameras.
- Only callers you grant access to will be able to connect to your camera
- For added security, you can protect your camera with a PIN code which is retained on your computer (and not on our servers)
